As a courtesy to our approved Trade Professionals, Capitol Lighting’s 1800ligtingPRO offers FREE Federal Express Ground Shipping on ALL ORDERS within the contiguous 48 United States, regardless of order total or product size. Expedited shipping methods are available on most in-stock items upon request. Further, Capitol Lighting does not charge sales tax on orders shipped outside of New Jersey or Florida. Tax exemptions within New Jersey and Florida are only permitted with completed Tax Exemption or State Reseller License form on file with Capitol Lighting.

Do you offer lower pricing for larger orders?

Capitol Lighting’s 1800lightingPRO offers a tiered pricing formula that rewards our best customers with our best prices. All approved 1800lightingPRO members start with our SILVER membership level. Trade members that maintain a 12-month spending level of at least $10,000 are rewarded with our GOLD membership level. Trade members that maintain a 12-month spending level of at least $30,000 are rewarded with our PLATINUM membership level.

The last time I logged on to 1800lightingPRO I was at a higher membership level than I am now. How can I be upgraded again?

Our Tiered Discount Program is governed according to the Trade Professional’s 12-month spending level. These membership levels are as follows:
- SILVER Membership – awarded upon approval of trade credentials.
- GOLD Membership – awarded for maintaining 12-month spending level of $10,000.
- PLATINUM Membership – awarded for maintaining 12-month spending level of $30,000.
If you are a Gold or Platinum Member, if you are close to falling below your spending level threshold, you will be notified 2 months, 1 month and 2 weeks prior to your membership downgrade. You will be renewed at your previously higher membership level once you have placed orders that will bring your spending level back above these thresholds.

You can check your 12-month spending level at any time by logging into your 1800lightingPRO account.

How do I know that the item I see online is exactly how it will arrive once I order it?

The product images posted on 1800lightingPRO are provided by the individual manufacturers and are not property of Capitol Lighting. Due to the application of certain finishes and the settings of any individual’s computer screen, slight variations in color may occur between the image on your screen and the actual fixture. Upon request, most manufacturers will make finish samples available at no charge to our customers and professional clients. We encourage our customers to gather as much information as possible in order to make an informed purchasing decision.

I have a received an item that is damaged/defective. What can I do?

Capitol Lighting will happily replace or refund the full amount of any item that has been received damaged or defective. If you have received an item that is damaged or defective, please contact your account manager or email customerservice@1800lighting.com for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and a Call Tag. Damages must be reported within 10 days of receipt of item. All items returned for reasons of damage or defect will be inspected by Capitol Lighting upon return. If requested, a full refund will only be issued once the damage or defect has been verified.

What is your return policy?

Capitol Lighting will accept returns on all items purchased at 1800lightingPRO within 45 days of receipt of item(s). In the event that a non-damaged item is returned, the cost of reshipping will be deducted from your refund total. Additional manufacturer-mandated restocking fees may also apply – please see the individual product page for details of any applicable restocking fees. Arroyo Craftsman lighting products are made-to-order and, as such, are not eligible for return. As one of the largest distributors of premium lighting products from manufacturers like Schonbek Worldwide and Fine Art Lamps, Capitol Lighting can have many of the lighting fixtures shown on 1800lightingPRO modified to your specifications. Love the new Fine Art Lamps Beveled Arcs chandeliers but would rather have it in a different finish? Done! Need that Schonbek Geometrix Da Vinci chandelier to be the size of the moon? No problem!
